It has come to our attention that some semi-trucks traveling to and from the Midwest Coating facility in Schererville, Indians have not been following the proper truck route.
Trucks traveling to our plant should not be exiting at Kennedy Avenue (Exit 3), but should be exiting south at the U.S. 41/Indianapolis BLVD. Interchange (Exit 2). Please note that trucks mistakenly exiting at Kennedy Avenue can use a turn around area at the Town of Highland’s public works facility-which is just south of the interchange.
Trucks leaving our plant and going north on Kennedy Avenue are subject to a $375 ticket since this is not a truck route.
